The Cap Barbell Fitness FID Bench is a standard exercise bench, with a maximum weight capacity of 250lbs. This is a generous amount, even when you take in to account the added weight of the dumb bells or exercise weights which you will be using from time to time.

As we said in the introduction, the FID bench is capable of 4 unique position - including flat, inclined, declined, and 90 degrees upright. This increases the selection of exercises which can be performed on the machine. Furthermore - adjusting the bench itself was a breeze, and even the most terrified DIY novice will be able to work it out!

Comfort & Style
This bench from Cap Barbell Fitness includes luxury finishings, such as the dumbbell holder which is able to provide support for your dumbbells whilst you get in to and out of the correct exercise positions on the bench.

The handgrips are also covered with foam, providing added comfort during rigorous or demanding exercise. When you need to convert the handgrips to leg supports, the foam also makes exercises such as leg raises a breeze.

Extras & Add-ons
Aside from the dumbbell holder at the side of the machine (which isn't really an added extra) - there are no additional features to this bench. The product does come with a warranty, but we were unsure whether this was for 1 or 2 years (it didn't tell us anywhere!). Even so, a year is a fairly decent amount of time to have a piece of exercise equipment covered before - because of the wear and tear that it might experience during that time.

Unlike other benches which can only be used for 3 to 10 different activities, the adjustable nature of the FID bench makes it flexible and accommodating when you want to try new things.

The finishing work has been done well, and you can tell just by looking at it that the construction is of high quality. Sitting on it and using the machine will confirm this - and for these reasons, we wouldn't hesitate to give the Cap Barbell Fitness FID Bench a full 5 stars.
